EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Jeremy Goldberg is the Executive Director of the Central Coast Labor Council – a coalition of labor unions representing more than 70,000 union families in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
In 2008, Jeremy worked for the first Obama presidential campaign followed by the 2009 Presidential Inaugural Committee coordinating volunteers for the Inaugural Balls. From 2009-2015, Jeremy worked at the National Association of Letter Carriers as the National Field Director helping to stave off congressional efforts to cut jobs and reduce mail service to the American people. During this time, he also worked on numerous electoral campaigns including Elizabeth Warren’s successful 2012 Senate campaign.
Jeremy was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He and his wife Lisa live in Camarillo with their daughters Zoe and Ruby and their dog Tater Tot.
Program Director
Michaela Perez is the Program Director at the Central Coast Labor Council, leading the CWOP Initiative to strengthen regional outreach and engagement across San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties.
She works closely with community organizations to coordinate activities, identify training needs, and support grantees in advancing their programs. Michaela holds a Master of Public Health from San Francisco State University and brings extensive experience in community organizing, program development, and advocacy for social and economic justice. She is also a City Council Member in Oxnard, where she continues to champion the rights of working families and advance the mission of the labor movement along California’s Central Coast.
Political Coordinator
Bridget Day is the Political Coordinator at the Central Coast Labor Council. She works with affiliate unions to strengthen political engagement across the region, helping coordinate campaign efforts, voter outreach, and day-to-day communications.
Bridget graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in June 2025. Bridget took part in the UCSB Labor Center’s Labor Summer program and interned with SEIU Local 620, gaining experience in contract negotiations and public sector union advocacy. That fall, she joined the Labor Council as a part-time campaign organizer for the 2024 local elections.
Bridget grew up in Seattle and now lives in Santa Barbara.
